Leo Shoes Modena is celebrating a long awaited home victory in Superlega Championship after last night's match against Ravenna. Coach Giani’s team is currently ranking 5th on the Superlega League table, after collecting 4 defeats in a row. Micah Christenson and his team mates are ready to face Kemerovo, Varsavia and Roselaire’s team, host of a difficult but challenging european round. Team’s conditions are good at a technical and athletic level, and they are ready to leave for Belgium on Monday afternoon. Modena’s outside spikers Daniele Lavia and Moritz Karlitzek are on their Champions League debut while also Andrea Giani will be at his first Champions League attempt as a Head Coach.

Andrea Giani: “We’ll be playing a difficult qualifying group, against three high level opponents. We are aware that we’re going to fight 3 tight matches but we’re working hard to be ready for that. It will be unusual for us to play in a “bubble” but we are extremely focused on us and our goals: we want the Chammpions League’s 4th finals qualification”.
