Daniele Mazzone's career began in 2007 in the Volleyball Turin, in Serie D, while in the 2008/09 season he moved to Cuneo Volley Piedmont, playing however in the team that competes in the B2 Series championship. In the 2009/10 season he joined the federal project of Club Italia where he remained for three years, participating first in the B2 Series championship and then, from the 2010/11 season to the A2 Series, making his debut in professional volleyball: in these years he is also part of both the Under-19 national team, the Under-20 and the Under-21, as well as get the first calls in the national team since 2011. In the 2012-13 season he wears the Argos Volley of Sora shirt, always in the cadet series; with the national team he won the gold medal at the XVII Mediterranean Games, the bronze medal at the World League and the silver medal at the European championship 2013. In the following season he was hired by Volleyball Molfetta, in Serie A1, before moving on to 2014 -15 to the Città di Castello Volleyball. In the 2015-16 season he defended the colors of Trentino Volley, where he remained for two years; with the national team he won the silver medal at the Grand Champions Cup 2017. From the summer of 2017 he wears the Modena Volley shirt.
