Youth: energy for the future!
This is Modena Volley philosophy. With this in mind, I believe the Society has invested great organizational and economic resources to grow its youth sector and make it one of the most important in Italy.
These are many young talents who, through significant experiences, closely followed by technicians of absolute national value, are growing and maturing as players and as people learning on daily basis life and sports values, having fun while working.
Many national final matches reached and medals collected in recent seasons by young Yellow-Blues: some of these, grown in our junior teams, are now protagonists in Superlega and A2 Series.
Starting from the 2014/15 season, there are two news concerning the youth sector of Modena Volley, two projects aimed at further strengthening the relationship between the Society, its territory, its city and its institutions.
MODENA VOLLEY, POLISPORTIVE VILLA D'ORO AND POLISPORTIVA GINO NASI TOGETHER IN VGMODENA VOLLEY
A great collaboration between Modena Volley and two historical societies of the Modena Volleyball, the multi-shielded Villa d'Oro and the Polisportiva Gino Nasi, gave birth to the largest youth center in Emilia Romagna, a reality that today gathers young athletes from minivolley, teams under 11, under 12, under 13, under 14 up to the under 15 group.
A synergy that has obtained the highest recognition of the FIPAV, the golden certificate for the quality of work achieved by the youth sector.
UNIMORE - MODENA VOLLEY
A farsighted synergy between Modena Volley and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, a collaboration aimed at combining the agonistic activity of young players with the university courses. This is the goal of the Memorandum of Understanding between UNIMORE and Modena Volley.
